The Osaka Meibutsu Sekaiichi Title was another comedy title, which roughly translates to "Osaka's World's #1 Special Attraction". The champion was actually referred to as "Sekaiichi" and not champion. As a result, challengers were sometimes given rankings such as "Sekaini" and "Sekaisan".
Kuishinbo Kamen and the original Ebessan held it the most times with 3. Kuishinbo also had the most successful defenses, which came during his first reign.
The belt was mysteriously blown up a few weeks before the 4/29/08 IMP Hall show. Kanjyuro Matsuyama won the title (which was obviously missing) from Miracle Man at IMP and sealed it afterwards, announcing the creation of the Osaka Owari Title. It was then revealed that Mecha Mummy was the one who destroyed the Meibutsu Sekaiichi Title.
