The Osaka Pro-Wrestling Title is the top singles championship in the company. Title defenses don't occur as frequently as they do in other promotions, maybe every 3-4 months. The title had a period of inactivity (or close to it) after Delfin won it at Hurricane 2006 as it took a backseat to the interpromotional feud with Michinoku Pro. What should have been BKK's big moment as a heel didn't really mean anything as he made 1 defense that ended in a no-contest. Since winning the belt at Hurricane 2007, Tigers has made some quality defenses, including what arguably was the most "epic" one against Black Buffalo at Hurricane 2008. It's arguably the strongest reign since Delfin's third time.

Super Delfin currently holds the record for reigns at 4, with Takehiro Murahama and Billyken Kid tied at 2. Tigers Mask has the longest reign so far as he's held the title for a year and counting.
