Masamune debuted in mid-April 2005 and brought Hideyoshi with him a week after his first match. They would eventually join Touru Owashi and Black Buffalo in Buraiken. With Hideyoshi and collectively known as Sengoku, they have been a dominant team for the last couple of years, winning the tag titles on two occasions. Like Hideyoshi, he's technically a freelancer, but competes in Osaka on a regular basis. Masamune's a fast competitor who uses a lot of lucha libre techniques. As a result, he usually has good exchanges with the likes of Tsubasa and Asian Cooger. He takes more falls than Hideyoshi, but still has the ability to beat anybody due to his quickness.
