Takoyakida debuted in December 2005, but was sidelined with an injury shortly afterwards. His character was tweaked a bit as he claimed to be the First Prince of the Takoyaki Kingdom, thus leading to a royalty gimmick of sorts. He did gain some popularity among fans with his antics (and blog) and even won the Osaka Pro Battle Royale Title. At first, he was mostly seen in comedy matches, but has slowly been inserted in serious encounters. Probably the oddest appearance of anybody in Osaka, Takoyakida looks to catch up with peers Tadasuke and Robert Tanaka in the future.
