Originally a Toryumon student, Tsubasa came to Japan in 1999 and eventually made Osaka his home base. His team with Black Buffalo, known as INFINITY, remains one of the more beloved tandems in company history. He also was a tag team champion with Billyken Kid in 2005 as they had some heated battles against Hideyoshi & Masamune. Although a number of knee surgeries have now reduced him to a Holiday Paradise schedule, he remains one of the best high-flyers. Tsubasa recently formed a team with Asian Cooger called Mucha Lucha, which has gained some big popularity. A recent Holiday Paradise main event featuring the trio of Mucha Lucha and Buffalo got a huge reaction, especially when Tsubasa and Buffalo shook hands. With tag champions Zero & GAINA in Okinawa, many fans are expecting Mucha Lucha to make a strong push to bring the belts back home.
